Press release
Gary Marshall, The Rayleigh Club Captain, selects The Mitchy Foundation as his chosen charity
2 min read

We are delighted to share that Gary Marshall, Club Captain at The Rayleigh Club, selected The Mitchy Foundation as his chosen charity for his year in office, and raised an incredible £3,009.20 for the foundation in the process.
Each year the Captain of The Rayleigh Club nominates a single charity to support through a programme of member events, competitions and fundraising days. It is a significant commitment from a club with a strong local membership, and one that helped us reach new supporters across south Essex.
Gary's year brought a brilliant mix of events together: Captain's Week, including the Drive In and the Dinner and Dance, the Friday Mix Up, the Easter Raffle, and a sponsored waxing that we will not soon forget. Every event added to the total, and every member who took part helped move the needle.
To Gary, the club committee and everyone at The Rayleigh Club, thank you. £3,009.20 will fund more heart health checks in the community, and that is impact that lasts well beyond a Captain's year.
